Opera plays an important role in the creative fabric of our creative community, and I have been privileged to act as Trustee for The Canterbury Opera Foundation since December 2017.  As Christchurch recovers from the setbacks of the earthquakes, I believe there is an exciting opportunity to enhance and build existing momentum of the Foundation to ensure a well-supported, inclusive and vibrant opera community that can be enjoyed by all Canterbury residents.
