TRUSTEE
With a background both on stage and in law, I bring a unique perspective to my role as Trustee. As a specialist music and entertainment lawyer qualified in New Zealand and Australia, I have spent years advocating for the rights and interests of musicians, managers, and entertainment entities across both countries. My mission is to provide creatives with sound legal advice so they can focus on what they do best: making music.

My journey into law followed a career as a musician. During my years in Australia, I performed professionally, touring alongside legendary acts like The Who, Counting Crows, and The Cranberries.
Upon returning to New Zealand, I continued to make music and am currently part of the Christchurch band, Volts. This passion for music drives my work and keeps me deeply connected to the industry on both creative and professional levels.

In my legal practice, I guide clients through various music-related agreements, covering everything from songwriting and recording to publishing and licensing. Beyond the day-to-day, I am committed to sharing knowledge with the broader community through music business mentoring and guest lecturing.

Serving as a Trustee is a chance to support and champion the arts from a new angle, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute my skills to such a meaningful cause.
