TRUSTEE

I was born and raised in Christchurch. I studied Commerce and Music at the University of Canterbury. My Master's research examined the state of music education in New Zealand from educators' perspectives, and I am currently pursuing a PhD exploring the relationships between performers and the venues they perform in.

I am a lecturer at the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art (NASDA) and Director of Girl Choristers at Christ Church Cathedral. As a freelance Musical Director, I have musically directed and played for productions with companies including The Court Theatre and Showbiz, and I also teach singing and piano privately.

I am a passionate advocate for the benefits singing brings to a person's life, with a particular focus on supporting young people in their singing journey.

I am grateful to join this group of trustees, and look forward to continuing to support artists in the Canterbury region.
